Sam Loyd's Cyclopedia of 5000 Puzzles tricks and Conundrums

Cyclopedia was compiled by Sam Loyd's son and published after his death in 1914. Although many books have been written about some of Loyd's puzzles, this remains the most complete volume of all of his puzzles. This is considered to be the most fabulous and exciting collection of puzzles ever assembled in one volume. The puzzles come with wonderful illustrations.

Almost every page may be regarded as a little family puzzle department in itself, containing as it does a variety of puzzles, simple and difficult, mathematical and otherwise. A lover of puzzles browsing through the pages, whether he be the veteran solver or the youngster who is just beginning to agitate his grey matter with riddles and word puzzles, will find abundance to feed upon.
